So here we are. In the Buffalo airport. We left around 1:30 this morning, some of us didn't sleep at all last night, some of us only got a couple hours. We got to the airport around 3 or 4 (it all kinda blends together after a while when it's this early in the morning). We went through the border, customs, and security all pretty smoothly. Every single one of our bags were under 50 pounds. That brings us to now. Our plane is delayed an hour and a half, so we wont be leaving until around 7:30. right now we are all just kinda chilling on the floor or our terminal, playing dutch blitz, sleeping, journaling, and other things to occupy our time. We all have these awesome green t-shirts with "Stop & Think" written on them. People have been asking us where we are going, and if we are a school team, and stuff like that. It's unbelievable that in only around 9 hours we will be in Haiti! I can't wait to be there!

ReplyDeleteI finally had time to sit down and read all the blogs up to your departure. I have to say I am so inspired by your comments and the maturity and honesty that flows out. Teagan I am so proud of you in the way that you followed God's plan for your life and used your experience in Haiti to inspire others to follow Him. The work that you Jill and Katherine put into the retreat affected many lives. You guys are all amazing and God will do do great things through you all.
